WriteX includes first-class providers (including DeepSeek) plus OpenAI-compatible custom endpoints—no WriteX-hosted models.

WriteX uses BYOK: pick a provider in Settings, paste your API key, and requests leave your machine to that vendor. WriteX does not host models.

Custom / OpenAI-compatible

For vendors not in the list, use OpenAI-compatible / custom with your own Base URL, key, and model id (corporate gateways, local Ollama, etc.).
