Getting started with WriteX

This guide walks through the first writing loop on Windows public beta: install, folder project, model setup, edit, save.

Before you start

Windows 10 1809+ 64-bit
A BYOK API key
An empty folder or Git repo for Markdown

Steps

Install from Download—Store preferred or Gitee backup.
Launch WriteX and add a local folder as your project.
Open Settings, add provider + API key (Configure BYOK).
Create or open Markdown, write in the WYSIWYG editor, save.
(Optional) Open the agent, attach the file, and polish a paragraph.

Tips and best practices

Keep the project where you already backup (Git, Time Machine). Watch changelog during beta.
